Guadalupe Altamirano-Ortiz, age 16 of Carthage died Saturday, July 16, 2022 as a result of an accident.
Born in Mexico on December 12, 2005, he was a son of Inocencia Ortiz Franco and Estevan Altamirano.
Lupe was a current student at North Moore High School. He loved music, soccer and football. He also loved mole, especially homemade food. Lupe had big dreams of graduating high school and wanted to become an automotive mechanic. He was a hard worker and had the biggest heart, always putting others before himself.
In addition to his parents, Lupe is survived by his siblings: Lorena Altamirano Ortiz, Johan Altamirano Ortiz, Zaira Altamirano Ortiz and Altair Altamirano Ortiz.
A funeral mass will be 5:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at San Juan Diego Mission in Robbins. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery.
