Harold B.Stutts, age 68, died Wednesday (December 22, 2010) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Henry Blain Stutts and Mamie A. Williams Stutts and was a graduate of Elise high school in Robbins. He was an active volunteer fireman in Robbins for over 20 year and had served as fire chief. He worked in textiles early on in life and later worked for many years with Mansion Homes. He also owned and operated S & D Siding and most recently Sunset Pottery. He was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed teaching and watching others catch fish. The Outer Banks of North Carolina were a special place for his family to visit.
He was preceded in death by: his brothers Winfred Stutts, Paul Stutts and just recently William 'Bill' Stutts.
Survivors include: his wife Gloria Buff Stutts; daughter Tabitha Stewart of Seven Lakes; sister Geraldine Lanier of Columbia, SC; brother Jimmie Stutts of Apex; grandsons, Stephen and Nicholas Stewart.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins on Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and at other times at the home.
