Hazel Spencer McNeill, 74,  passed away  Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro, NC.  

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Bright Light Baptist Church, where she attended, with the Reverend Ralph VonCannon officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 PM and at other times at the home.   

Hazel was a native of Randolph County.  She worked in the textile industry for many years and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano and making pottery Angels.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She Loved the Lord, was faithful in her Bible reading and loved Gospel Music .  Hazel was the daughter of the late Leondis and Fannie Chriscoe Spencer and was preceded in death by siblings: Margie, Willie, Wade, Edgar, and Bennie Spencer.

Hazel is survived by husband of 57 years Charles; daughter: Gina O’Quinn and husband Danny; sons: Doug McNeill and wife Linda; Glenn McNeill and wife Sandra,  Chris McNeill and  wife Carrie; grandchildren: Lee McNeill and wife Hannah, Brittany McNeill sister: Dorothy Allred; brother; Winfred Spencer and many friends.
