Hazel Green Moore 86, died Friday, March 20, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family.  

 

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 23, 2015 at Robbins First Wesleyan Church, where she was a member, with Reverend Sam Swinney, Reverend James Valk, Reverend Bob Freeman officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Rest cemetery. The body will lie in state beginning at 10:00 AM at the church.  The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church and at other times at the home.  

 

Hazel worked in textiles for many years.  Hazel loved the Lord and her church, she especially loved reading her Bible.  She was a loving wife and mother.  Hazel cherished time spent with people and never met a stranger.  

 

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin and Annie McCallum Green; sisters: Ida Barber, Lena Williams; brothers: Jonah Green, Mack Green, Guy Green; son in law: Robert Reynolds.

 

Hazel is survived by her husband of 70 years, Warren; daughter: Joy Reynolds, of Robbins; son: Tim Moore and wife Phyllis, of Robbins; sister: Elizabeth Brewer; brothers: Roy Green and wife Margaret, W B Green and wife Peggy; many nieces and nephews.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Robbins First Wesleyan Church, P O Box 397, Robbins, NC 27325 or the charity of your choice.
