Helen Hartgrove Johnson, 98, died Thursday Nov. 5, 2009 at Penick Village.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the Chapel at Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Born March 24, 1910 in Charlotte, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Stanford Hartgrove and wife of the late Cliff Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was the former owner of The Belvedere Hotel and owner and operator of Agnes Dorothy Beauty Shop.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
