Helen Marie Maness Northcutt, 88 of Robbins went to be with her Lord and Savior, joining her husband of 73 years, Everett Colon Northcutt on Thursday February 6, 2014.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend James Cagle officiating.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, she was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
She was the daughter of the late Jiles Gilmer and Leria Maie Turner Maness. She was preceded in death a daughter, Rebecca Sue Northcutt, a sister; Amy Maness Long, a brother; Jiles Gilmer Maness, Jr.
She is survived by her loving children whom she adored: sons; Larry Colon Northcutt and wife Linda, Everett Darrell Northcutt, Charlie Gilmer Northcutt and wife Teresa all of Robbins, daughters: Ellen Kennedy and husband Ronald of Carthage, Jackie Owens and husband Dempsey of Star, Ida Northcutt-Garner and husband Nickey of New London, Tammy Northcutt of Robbins, sister: Margaret Steed Phillips of Greensboro;
grandchildren: L.C. Northcutt, Jr., Dawn Martin, Melissa Harrington, Michelle Kennedy, Dempsey Owens Jr., Donna Moore, Marshall Northcutt, Tonya Allred, Tasha Northcutt, Beverly Richardson, Shianne and Dawson Buie, 15 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren, as well many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Kennedy Funeral Home and other times at the home.
