Helen Davis Vaughn, age 90 of Carthage died Thursday (October 22, 2015) at Peak Resource - Pinelake in Carthage.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was the last surviving of six children born to the late Roy G. and Mary Dollar Davis. Helen worked in textiles for many years and later was a caretaker for families in the community.
She is survived by: daughters Marry Ferris of Augusta, GA and Cathy Lowrimore and her husband Jimmy of Sanford; grandchildren Mark Boger and Michelle Baldwin; great grandchildren Angie and Amanda.
Fry and Prickett Funeral Home is assisting the Vaughn family.
