Henrietta Moore Garner, 90, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC, surrounded by her family.

 

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Needhams Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Edwin Moore officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 and at other times at the home.

 

Henrietta was native of Moore County. She worked in the textile industry and was a seamstress for the whole community.  She loved the Lord and caring for her family. Henrietta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, quilting and doing anything she could for other people. She was a daughter of the late Clifford and Bertie Scott Moore and was preceded in death by her husband: William Graham Garner; son: Randy Garner; and 7 siblings.  

 

Henrietta is survived by daughters: Carol Culler and husband Harold, Beverly Culler; sons: Stevie Garner, Eddie Garner and wife Martha; grandchildren: Wendy Mattson and husband Kurt, Billy Garner, Travis Chriscoe and wife Ashley, Jeremy Davis, Jessica Hussey and husband Ethan, Rachel Garner, Ethan Garner; 9 great grandchildren; sister: Peggy Sturdivant; brother: Larry Moore and many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Memorial may be made to First Hospice House, 150 Applecross Drive, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
