Hrad H Zolmian

Pawtucket - Hrad H. Zolmian, M.D., 96, of McNeill Street, Carthage, North Carolina and formerly of Pequot Road, Pawtucket died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at home in North Carolina. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Notley) Zolmian and the father of the late Rod S. Zolmian.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George and Hanoushag (Anderson) Zooloomian.
Dr. Zolmian was a physician in the Blackstone Valley for many years retiring in November 1993. He was a 1936 graduate of Brown University and a 1940 graduate of Harvard University Medical School.
He was a member of the Pawtucket, the Rhode Island, and the American Medical Societies.
A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in the European Theater.
He is survived by one nephew, Philip Kerrigan of Aliso Viejo, CA; and his caregiver, Carlene Refino of Carthage, NC. He was the brother of the late D. Madeleine Kerrigan.
His funeral will be held WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 at 1 P.M. at Historic Swan Point Chapel, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence. Burial will be private.
