Idelle Key Evans, age 79, died Sunday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Lamm's Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery concluding with a dove release.
A native of Moore County she was the daughter of the late John Henry Willard and Anna Belle Hannon Willard. She worked for Quality Mills as a machine operator, a cashier for Harris Teeter and currently as a volunteer with the Bargain Box. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver W. Key and daughters, Sharon Key and Betty Clapp.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Patterson of West End and a son, Henry Key & wife, Wendy of West End; a sister, Eljene Copeland of West End; grandchildren, Alan, Dennis, Idelle & Josh and great-grandchildren, Autumn, Crissy, Hunter, Ben, Dayton, Lexy and Niya .
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home.
