Imogene M. Puckett Hardy

Imogene (Jean) Hardy went to be with the Lord at 86 years old. Jean, a very Christian women, loved her church, Ephesus Baptist Church in Sanford, and especially loved her church family.

A memorial service will be held at Ephesus Baptist Church on Sunday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Rick Miller presiding.

She is preceded in death by her husband David, her son Terry, and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 5 children; Linda Hardy of West Virginia, David Hardy and his wife Patty of Fairbanks, Alaska, James Hardy and his wife Nancy of Pickens, South Carolina, Amber Hardy of the home, Michael Hardy and his wife Megan of Carthage, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends lost a beautiful, caring, loving, inspirational woman, but Heaven gained another angel. R.I.P. Jean we all love you!

  6. Hello, this is Abigail 4 years later on thanksgiving. I’m sad with the fact it’s been 4 years that I haven’t seen my grandma. She was my role model, and she provided me with a good childhood. I loved baking cookies with her and sitting outside and playing games with her, I miss her a lot and I hope she misses me. I love you mawmaw and I hope you are safe where you belong, heaven <33
