J. Luke Marsh, age 15 of Cameron died Thursday (June 7, 2007) at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at New Century Middle School gymnasium with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Cameron Cemetery. Following the services the family will be receiving friends in the Cameron Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
A native of Moore County he was a son of Jerry and Sue Wilson Marsh. Luke graduated from Cameron Elementary School and was a student at New Century Middle School. He loved motorcycles and basketball. In 2005 he won a motocross championship in the 85cc class at Black Ankle.
In addition to his parents he is survived by: three half brothers Mark Yarborough, Anthony Taylor and Daniel Taylor; grandfather William Rex Wilson of Cameron; girlfriend Brittany Ward
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence of Danny Wilson, 221 Lane Road, Cameron, NC 28326.
To help with expenses the family requests that memorials be made to Judy Martin, 1844 NC 24/27, Cameron, 28326

My son Kodie Di Diego was friends with Luke and was heartbroken when he heard about this – Thoughts and prayers still going out to this family – I just wanted to share my son gave me a wonderful grandson whom was named LUKE after his friend he lost and now my son (28yrs old) has passed on 9/12/2021 and I hope these two friends have been able to reconnect in heaven – All our love (Denise Di Diego and family)
