James B. 'Lindy' Matthews

J. B. "Lindy" Matthews, age 56 of Kester Street, died Wednesday (February 14, 2007) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday at St. Mary's Holiness Church conducted by the Rev. Betty Lee. Burial will follow in St. John Church Cemetery.
He is survived by: three daughters Melvina Matthews of Syracuse, NY, Dorothy Matthews of Redding, PA and Nikia Matthews of New Port Richie, FL; one son James Buster Matthews of Redding, PA; two sisters Lorreine Matthews of Raleigh and Linda Holley of Bronx, NY ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and 11:00-12:00 P.M. Saturday at St. Mary's Holiness Church prior to the service.
