Robbins:
James Bernard McDermott,III, 47 former Town Commissioner of Robbins, he was known for being a strong worker, loving father, dedicated family member and a good friend entered into rest Monday, April 14, 2008 at his home.
A memorial graveside service will be held 11:00 AM. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Pine Rest cemetery, with the Rev. Jon Neuhs officiating.
Mr. McDermott was a native of Moore County, he was formerly employed with the Town of Robbins for 20 Years. He attended Elise Presbyterian Church he was preceded in death by his parents, James B. McDermott, II and LeVanne Burns McDermott and his grandmother: Maida H. Burns.
Surviving are: Joan Cole McDermott of Robbins.
2 sons: James Bernard McDermott IV of Pinebluff and Jeremiah McDermott of Robbins.
Daughter: Jodi Nicole McDermott of Robbins.
Sister: Teresa Dunlap of Seagrove.
Aunt: Marsha Garner of High Falls.
The family will receive friends 6 " 8 PM. Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and other times at the home of his sister Teresa Dunlap 219 L. Moore Rd. Seagrove.
