Mr. James F. Sheppard, 82 of Greensboro, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at his home.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM at Glendon Independent Christian Church, July 21, 2018, with the Reverend Brian Beane officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in the church cemetery.
James was born November 10, 1935 in Moore Co., NC, the son of James Waldo Sheppard and Virgie Forrest Sheppard.
James served his country in the United States Air Force..
James was the owner of Mr. James Hair Designs in Greensboro, NC and SS Cutter in the Asheboro Mall.
He was a well-read person who enjoyed the privacy and solitude that came with it.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Sheppard.
Surviving are his sons, John A. Sheppard and wife Emily of Cookeville, TN and James F. Sheppard, Jr. and his wife Debbi of Greensboro: grandchildren, Adam, Whitney, Caroline and Blake: Great Grandson, Rowan.
