James "Jimmy" F. Martin

James “Jimmy” F. Martin, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at his home in Aberdeen.
Born on November 8, 1965, he was a son of Howard and Carol Martin.
Jimmy loved Rock-n-Roll and attending concerts with his brother Chris. Jimmy was a collector of music memorabilia. Jimmy loved his pets, “Spooky”, his parrot and his dog “Penny” who will miss him dearly. He loved spending time with his mom, Carol and going out to eat at “Macs” restaurant. Jimmy and his mom watched lots of football on Sundays after family dinner.
He was preceded in death by his father: Howard Martin.
Jimmy is survived by his mother: Carol Bordwell Martin; brother: Chris Martin and fiance Shelly Coble; sister: Kelly Pratz and husband Chris; niece and nephew: Sydney and Jordan.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 4 pm at Pinelawn Memorial Park in the chapel with Rev. Archie Stevens officiating.

Sad to hear about the passing of Jimmy, he was a great guy with a huge heart. Cheri and I have fond memories singing Karaoke with him, no one did KISS any better than Jimmy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this tremendous time of loss.
