James Millard Paris,  94 , of Aberdeen, NC passed away August 31, 2016 at FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC  

A memorial service will be held September 10, 2016 at 3:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Mike Branscome , at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Southern Pines, NC with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM.  

Jim was a retired Pharmaceutical Representative.  He loved the game of golf, was an Elks Club Member, and a WWII Veteran.  He also played the clarinet in the Moore County Concert Band.   

Predeceased by his wife, Gladys Virginia Paris, brother, Lt Col. George E. Paris, sister, Keith Barnes, and parents, George Evangelos and Bell Floyd Paris and step mother Lillian Paris.  

Survived  by two sons, James M. Paris Jr., (Karen) of Weddingon , NC and George C Paris of Aberdeen, NC, three grandchildren, Jillian, Ansley, and James Paris III of Weddington , NC, and brother Franklin Paris of Lumberton, NC.  

Memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice at 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC  28374
