James O. 'Coot' Tyson

James O. "Coot" Tyson, age 85 of Manor Care of Pinehurst and formerly of Putnam-Glendon Road died Tuesday (December 4, 2007) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church conducted by The Rev. Lincoln Blanding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was retired from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Tyson.
He is survived by: his son Eddie Tyson of Carthage; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
