James Robert Ryder, age 64 of Aberdeen died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Bethesda Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. David Hudson. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
A native of Cuyahoga, Co., OH he was a son of the late James Louis and Isobel Leckie Ryder. A graduate of Bowling Green University he worked for many years at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum at Ft. Bragg.
He is survived by his wife Maxine Roberson Brown; daughters Juanita Roberson and Christinea Brown both of Fayetteville; son Jonathan Brown and wife Camila of Charlotte; sisters Jeanie Glaze of Prospect, OH, Judy Hayes and husband Michael of RI; brother John Ryder and wife Nancy of IN; grandchildren Seth Shaw, ZyAnn Bethel and Ezra Brown.
