My love goes out to my Cousin Ronald, one of the sweetest, kindest person I have ever known. I know my dad, Uncle John along with your Mother and Father were waiting with loving arms . The world has lost another loving soul but Heaven has gained an Angel. Rest
in peace Ronald, you fought a long, courageous battle.
I will never forget your kindness and love, taking me along to family services and reunions, showing up in one of your beloved classic cars, always with a big smile on your face. You will be greatly missed Cousin Ronald…
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mr. Ivey was a very good and Godly man. He will be greatly missed!
Mr James, where do I begin to find the words needed to honor a man whom I regarded so highly? You taught this young buck so much about life, which I thought I already knew, even when I didn’t realize you were doing it. I’ll never forget our trips to Kings Mountain swapping out your antique cars, those trips were the best, and your stories were even better. The best thing Walmart ever did for me was cross our paths and for that I’m eternally grateful. I know you’ve found peace because you already had it here on earth. I hope I can be half the man you were Mr James. Til we meet again old friend.
My husband Tom and I send our prayers and love to our dear cousin Ronald and family. Due to health issues we cannot be there in person. Your obituary picture is exactly the way we remember seeing you. Always that wonderful loving smile on your face. Your family loved you from the moment you were born and now you will be loved throughout eternity. All of us who love you here will miss you. What a great person God gave us.
Mr. James always had a smile on his face. When he would drop by Walmart as he was going through his sickness, he smiled and didn’t complain. I cherish the wonderful memories he shared with me about his upbringing and his love of his vintage vehicles.
My sincere condolences 🙏🏽
Papa James I’m going to miss you you done so much for me when you worked at Walmart you’ve done so much for everybody now you are a Angel you are our guardian Angel we love you and we’re going to miss you more than anything in this world I love you Papa James. Rest in peace Papa James if they ever was a Christian in this world you was a Christian you was God’s angel there was not a bad bone in your body you thought of others before you thought of yourself we love you..
Papa James,
I am at a loss for words, but what I do know, is that you have affected so many of us in a good way. Wise words, compassion, and being such a good friend, we will definitely never forget you. 💜
I still have the receipt from the gun I bought from James! He sold me a nice pistol and we went to be ‘professional’ in one of his antique vehicles. During the paperwork transaction a certain Cedric pulled up next to us and James just points the damn gun at him and starts laughing. I saw him a few more times at Food Lion in Whispering Pines and we’d catch up. Faster horses, younger women , older whiskey, and more money. God bless you buddy !
James,
You had a heart of gold and you always had that million dollar smile. Prayers for your family!!
