Jean Keeble Richardson, 92, died peacefully at her home, surrounded and comforted by her family, Thursday, March 22, 2018. Her death followed a short illness. Ms. Jean, as she was called, was born February 26, 1926 in Hogansville, Georgia to Jim and Ruby Keeble.

 A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church West End. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

 Her love of music and singing were a perfect match, alongside her husband of 70 years, as they faithfully spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Candor, NC where she was a member of the choir and choir director for many years. She loved gardening, canning, crocheting, quilting and was always proud of her beautiful African Violets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rev. Fred Richardson, brothers Joe, John, Troy and Roger Keeble; and sisters Martha and Pearl. 

She is survived by three sons, Jan of Carthage, Wayne (Brenda) of Clinton, NC, Freddie of Belton, SC. Three daughters Martha Blake (Tommy) of West End, Debbie Palmiter (Terry), and Cindy Morgan (Richard) of Eagle Springs. She has 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Kennedy Funeral Home Saturday, March 24, 2018 6 PM-8 PM. Other times at 8656 NC Highway 705, Eagle Springs, NC.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Carol Richardson, 370 Richardson Road, Carthage, NC 28327.
