Jeanette Sanders McLeod 87, passed away Monday October 12, 2015 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Crossroad Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Jeanette enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Lord and her church family. Jeanette enjoyed traveling with her family, gardening and caring for her yard. She retired from the Moore County Schools where she was a Teacher Assistant for Robbins Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents: John A. and Lurinda Morgan Sanders and 9 siblings.
Jeanette is survived by her husband of 70 years, Paul McLeod; daughters: Rhonda Clark, of Raleigh; Iris Sheffield and husband Butch, of Wake Forest, Doris Cheek and husband Jerry, of Hillsborough; son: Danny McLeod and wife Vicky, of Robbins; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clara McLean House, 20 First Village Drive, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the McLeod Family.

Paul and Family, Jeanette will truly be missed but she is now resting with Jesus and isn’t suffering anymore. She was like a second mom to me. She would always smile when I would tell her. You all are in our prayers. God bless you.
