CARTHAGE
Jeffrey Paul Myrick, age 59, of Carthage died Monday.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday (5/21/2010) at Pine Grove Baptist Church with The Rev. Bill Reynolds and The Rev. Dr. Zeb Moss officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was the son of Clarence P. Myrick and Louvene Flinchum Myrick. He attended Sandhills Community College and NC State University's forestry program. After college he began work with the Independent Order of Foresters Insurance Company and retired as senior vice president. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brent Myrick.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Linda Scott Myrick; sons, Heath Myrick of Florida and Jason Myrick of Carthage; as well as brother, Tim Myrick, wife Donna and son Evan of Carthage.
The family will receive friends at Pine Grove Baptist Church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the cemetery fund at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 2459 Pine Grove Church Road, Eagle Springs, NC 27242 or to donors favorite charity.

  6. I have had the pleasure of sharing several turkey camps with jeff. From what he told me he had led a very blessed life with no regrets. He had touched the lives of many people and it was truly an honor to have known him.
