Jerry Ann was a great sister in law when I needed her the most
We are sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing! She was such a pleasure to know! May the Lord comfort you in the days to come!
I always loved Jerry. I started out in 1982 working at the old Memorial Hospital in Burlington and we became friends. I was happy for her when she retired and sorry that we lost touch. She was such a character and I loved her laugh ! My condolences to the family.
I am heartbroken over this news. I am so very sorry, Mary Jayne. I know how extremely close you and your mother were. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Jerry was the Director of Pharmacy at Alamance Regional in Burlington when I met her (I was a pharmacy resident at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro). She was active in pharmacy organizations and wanted her pharmacists to be truly ‘at the bedside’ helping patients with their clinical knowledge. She has inspired many pharmacy students to become even better pharmacists for their patients.
She had the passion of all great and caring leaders.

Jerry Ann was my sister-in-law. She was very helpful to me at a time when I needed her.
My world has lost a force of nature with Jerry’s passing. We spent a lot of time working and laughing together at St. Paul’s. Jerry loved her family, her church, her community and her animals. Every time someone called over the weekend to remember Jerry, I cried. I miss her already. Mary Jane, she was so proud of you. Call if you want to talk. Gail
Ms. Kennedy was a beloved member of St. Paul’s UMC and the Pleasure Island community. She was very active in the community and showed love and compassion for her furry friends too. A beautiful soul with a beautiful spirit. She will be missed deeply. Praying for her friends and family.
Mary Jayne, so very sorry for the lost of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Mary Jayne, So sorry to hear this news! Your Mom, Jerry Ann, your Grandmother and Granddaddy and Charles E. were good friends of our family. Your Mom was my Facebook friend and I will miss her posts about the Tar Heels and all the animals. Prayers for you for Comfort, Peace and Strength .
Jerry, I have just lost one of my best friends. You will be missed more than I can say. I hope you are at peace now.
I served along side Jerry on a number of committees at St. Paul’s UMC. We’ve been in a few tough spots together over the years. We had great respect for each other and we were friends. She will be missed by so many and our love and thoughts go out to all her friends and family during this sad time.
Miss Jerry has been a dear friend and great neighbor for over 15 years. Always so kind to me my wife and family. Broke my heart when I hear the news. My heart is with you Mary Jayne
