Jerry Lee Walls

Jerry Lee Walls, 81, of Raeford, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Hendersonville, NC on July 23, 1943, he was a son of Ed and Edna Walls Graham. 

After high school, Jerry was drafted into the United States Army where he retired with 23 years of honorable service. Afterwards, he went to work for the state prison system and retired as a prison guard in the juvenile ward. He had a passion for collecting model cars and enjoyed attending car shows to see the older cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Walls, brothers: Eddie Graham and Nick Harrison Jr.; sister: Elsie Graham.

Jerry is survived by his children: Jerry Noel McCullough, Carl Anthony McCullough, Gregory Lawrence McCullough, Rhoda Palmer Sias, Margaret Janine Harriott; siblings: Bertrand M. Graham, Rebecca L Gray, Mildred Goodman, Martha Hammond, Etta Robinson; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 10-11 am at Community Congregational Church in Southern Pines. A graveside service will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.
