Jerry Mack Williamson, age 56 of Carthage died Thursday (December 3, 2009) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Sunday (December 6, 2009) at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by pastor Craig Dodson . Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Robert and Elma Stutts Williamson. He worked for the NC Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter Erica.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Cameron Williamson; daughter Charity Dodson and husband Eric of Sanford; son Jerry Thomas Williamson of Pinehurst; sisters Frances Oldham and husband W.K. of Carthage, Wanda Hardy of Carthage; brother Charles Williamson of Lobelia; granddaughter Erica Faith Dodson.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home on Saturday (December 5, 2009) from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
