Jimmy Darrell McLeod, 56 died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Crossroads Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. McLeod was a native of Montgomery County and a United States Army veteran. Darrell was a loving husband and devoted 'Paw Paw'. He loved the Lord and was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Darrell loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, participating in benefits rides and hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Morgan McLeod.
He is survived by his wife, of 38 years, Donna Rose McLeod, of the home, son: Chris McLeod and wife Bonnie of Greensboro, daughter: Dawn Marley and husband Erik of Eagle Springs; grandchildren: Lauren and Sean McLeod, Bailea and Lana Marley, father: Rex McLeod, of Candor, sister: Sandra McLeod, of Pittsboro, nephew, Bruce Diggs, of Seagrove and niece, Penny Culberson, of Pittsboro.
Memorials may be made to the Lana Grace Marley Fund @ Frances Cagle, First Bank P. O. Box 790, Robbins, N.C.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, June 3, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
