Joe Cecil Seawell, died Saturday at his residence.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Oscar Seawell and Marie Boyette Seawell. He worked at Master Craft Fabrics in Siler City for 43 year and for a short time at Carthage Fabric in Carthage. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary McGinnis.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Williams Seawell; son Davey Seawell and wife Mandy; grandson Neil Seawell all of Eagle Springs; sisters Carolyn Seawell of Robbins and Doris Wann of Asheboro; brothers Laverne Seawell of Louisiana, David Seawell of Asheboro, Kenneth "Mickey" Seawell of Virginia and Clinton Seawell of Bennett.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 PM Monday at Kennedy Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
