  7. Joy, Jill, and Joe, my heart was heavy when I read this morning that John had passed. Working in the water industry for years connected me with John. I always enjoyed all his conversations and stories. He was truly connected to Carthage, and I will miss seeing him in his mustang at the parade. The last time I had a long conversation with John was at the 100 years of Progress. Ironically, this event will be this weekend. I will not be able to attend the funeral, but all of you will be in my heart. I think so much of Scott, and I think it is wonderful he will be sharing the Lords message with all of the people gathered to celebrate Johns wonderful life.

  8. Joy, I was saddened when I heard of John’s passing. He was a Godly man and will be missed by everyone that knew him. He is now with out Heavenly father. God be with you as you go through these hard times.

  9. I just received this saddend news. On behalf of me & Patti, we are so sorry to the Whitlock family. Our prayers are with you and John. I had the occassion to work with John and we became friends. I’m sorry I didn’t stay in touch. He was a great man and a better farther.
