John Jackson McCall 79, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 2, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Whynot Wesleyan Church, with Reverend Ron Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
Mr. McCall served in the United States Army and worked at Ramtex Mill as a Fixer. He was the husband of the late Frances Davis McCall and a son of the late Carter and Bessie Holbrook McCall. He was preceded in death by brothers: Herman, Hoyt, Carter (Junior) and Eugene.
Mr. McCall is survived by his wife Elizabeth Allen McCall, of the home, daughters: Melissa Allred, of Asheboro, Pam Williams, of Eagle Springs, son: John Randall McCall, of Robbins, sisters: Marlene Cagle and Linda Faye Burke, of Zephyrhills, Fl., 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins, NC and at other times at 1439 Spies Road, Robbins, NC. Memorials may be made to Whynot Wesleyan Church, 1402 Hwy 705 South, Seagrove, NC 27341.
