John Linwood Singletary

Robbins:
John Linwood Singletary, 79 of 2259 North Moore Rd. died Monday, April 27, 2009 at his home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM. Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. James Stalnaker, the Rev. Clarence Garner and the Rev. Tom Horner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Singletary was a native of Bladen County; he was a retired Forman with Myrick Construction Co. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Horner Singletary and a daughter: Joan Singletary.
Surviving is: Daughter Malinda Singletary of Clayton.
Grandson: Charles Brian Warrick and wife Lacey of Cary.
Great-granddaughter: Mallory Warrick of Cary.
Brother: Talmadge Singletary of Elizabethtown.
Sisters: Mirian Bryant of Elizabethtown, Edna Burnette of Rocky Mount and Julia Shirey of Charlotte.
