John Ralph Nall, Jr., age 64, died Thursday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

 

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member, with the Rev. William Cooper and Rev. Joe Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM.

 

A native of Moore County he was the son of the late John R. Nall, Sr. and Waltruat “Sylvia” Schliessman Nall. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed anytime spent with family. He coached many young people in local recreation sports teams. He worked in the textile industry for many years. He loved the Lord and served Calvary Church as a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader.  John loved people and spending time with them. He spent much of his time visiting the sick and elderly of the church and community.  He enjoyed the outdoors especially, deer and rabbit hunting and fishing.

 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Robert Nall.

 

John is survived by his wife, of 33 years, Nancy Blake Nall;  daughter, Johnna Nall, of Aberdeen, Sisters: Merrie Hildreth, Doris Hill, Patricia Nall, Cindy Nall; brother: Walter Nall and many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 548 Marley Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
