  21. Otis, Rayona & family,
I can’t tell you how sorry I am to hear this tragic news. The world has lost a wonderful man. The only positive (definitely not the right word… but I think you know what I mean) is that he & his dear mom are together. And they’re there waiting until it’s all our times.
You’ll all be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love & hugs to all.

  22. My thoughts and prayers to my high school classmate, Georgia, and the Patterson family during this valley experience. May God be your strength and solace and bless you with a song that comforts you in the days to come.

  23. I am so very saddened to hear of your loss. I worked with John at Carolina Farm Credit for many years. He was a fine young man who was a great employee and friend. He always made those around him smile. May God give you comfort and peace in the days ahead.

  24. Big John, Big Poppa: this is how I knew John. The guy that made all the others laugh. Jeff and John were teammates at NC State and John had so many great one liners that Jeff and I still quote today. The small group of throwers had a true Wolfpack bond. A great memory was at our wedding, when we were dancing to NY NY and John was doing Rockette kicks – his flexibility was amazing for a man of his size! It was hard to not smile when you were in his presence. I am thankful to have known him. My deepest sympathy to his wife, daughter, dad, sister, and others near and dear to him. May God’s comfort cover you all.

  25. So sorry for your loss. Such a young man who had accomplished and won so many awards but God has already won the best award that anyone could be given and that is the gift of eternal life through salvation. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  26. Georgia , what a beautiful tribute John’s service was. It has been a few years since we worked together in the little old Ellerbe office but even with distance and years between us it was nice to have John’s friendship.
He will be sorely missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Keeping your family in my prayers.

  27. Our thoughts and prayers are with Georgia Lee, Leah Grace and the entire Patterson family. May God hold you very close and comfort you as only He can in the days ahead.
