John Wesley 'Johnny' Martin, age 66 of Cameron died Saturday (March 17, 2012) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church (Hwy 24/27, Harnett County). Services will be conducted by Rev. Willie Bryant. Burial will follow with military honors in the church cemetery.
A native of Hoke County he was a son of the late Frear and Kate Stewart Martin and a US Army Vietnam veteran. He retired from the textile industry.
He was preceded in death by: brothers Larry, William 'Buck' and Robert Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Wilson Martin; son John 'Allen' Martin and wife Sherri of Cameron; sisters Faye Wilson and husband Danny of Cameron, Ann Cameron and husband W.C. Of Cameron; granddaughter Journey Anne Martin; step-grandchildren Ashley Rosser, Randi Jewell, Andrew Jewell; step-great-grandchildren Hunter Wilson, Kirsten Rosser and Camden Rosser.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday and other times at the residence.
