Johnsia Needham Hussey, 83 passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be 4:00 PM , Monday September 15, 2014 at Needhams Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend James Cockram officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home of her daughter, Jill Oldham.
A native of Moore County, Johnsia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord and her church. She sang in the choir and played the piano. She was a daughter of the late Joe Manley and Lillie Scott Needham . She was preceded in death by her husband Dempsey and 8 siblings.
Surviving are sons: Rickey, David and Mark; daughters: Melissa, Jill and Ann; brother: Lawrence Needham: sister: Isabelle Blake; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Johnsia was a sweet and wonderful lady. She was always kind to me and my children, and I loved any time I got to spend with her. She loved her family with all her heart, and they loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed. May we celebrate her home-goin
