Josephine 'Jo' Parsons Maness 67, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC, surrounded by her family.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2013 at Pleasant View Friends Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Jacelyn Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Maness Family Cemetery, Biscoe, NC.
Mrs. Maness was a native of Moore County. She worked in the textile industry for many years at Clayson and Springs Industries. She was a daughter of the late, Joe G. and Catherine Tew Parsons and was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Thomas Maness. They resided for many years in Biscoe, NC.
Jo is survived by her daughter: Mary Maness Hogan, and husband Selby, grandson; Aaron Hogan, of Troy, brother: Joe G. Parson, Jr. of Rockingham, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and other times at 13627 NC Hwy 24/27, Eagle Springs, NC 27242.
