Josh, You were our strongman. You were our google. You were our in house doctor. You were our photographer. You were tough on the outside but soft as a teddy bear inside. You were always there to cheer us on. You were a great Father, bonus Dad and it was so fun watching you be a Grandpa. But most of all, you were a great man and we will love you forever.

I worked with Josh at Camp Mackall. He directly impacted thousands of GBs and will forever be ingrained in the hearts and mind of those that he taught and mentored. Your husband will be deeply missed.
PS. I was the guy who’s “Sniper” rifle he borrowed to to a photo shoot with you on the tank at Luzon DZ. I’m also the guy that was with him when he lost his phone in the woods and had you come out to geo locate it with a computer. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this unbearable time.

To the man who taught me how to walk. Never gave up on me and wouldn’t let me quit. For the friend you are to my husband, the father, service member, husband, still so much more. May you rest in peace.
Sending comfort & love to all the family , especially Shelby. You are in my prayers .
Our condolences and prayers of comfort to his family.

Rest easy, Josh. You touched many lives including mine. Things won’t be the same without you around.
So shocked and saddened to read this. I still picture Josh as the little boy growing up next door on Linwood Ave. I am so very, very heartbroken for your loss.
My prayers and deepest sympathies to all of your family.
RIP brother, had good times as a teammates with you.. I was just thinking of you the other day and wanted to swing by the gym where I last saw you to see if you were still there…
I had a coach once tell me that I’d never complete a specific event. The same coach pushed me to try harder. To “train like you mean it.” We didn’t always see eye to eye. I respected his work ethic, and how he never wanted to be outdone by others. Rowing before the crack of dawn so that his logged meters would be higher than ours when we got to the gym. He was tough and loved to pick on us. But he loved hard, and you can see that from how much joy he brought his family. He even had an athlete dress like him one Halloween, so you know he was respected and appreciated. T – I am sorry you only had what feels like a blip in time with him, when you were promised forever. I have faith that this strongman will still be moving mountains for you, so that he can make sure you are still smiling that big bright smile of yours. Sending you all the warm thoughts and hugs.
Teresa, what sad, sad news, loosing a loved one so suddenly. I hope good memories will carry you through this time.
Sending a long southern hug your way❤️
