Juanita Cassady Williamson 88, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Browns Chapel Christian Church, with the Reverend Jeff Karnes and Reverend Greg Cassady officiating. Burial will follow in in the church cemetery.  

 

Juanita was a native of Moore County and she worked in the textile industry until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her yard and caring for her flowers.  She also enjoyed decorating her house and yard during the holidays.  Juanita loved her family and treasured spending time with family and friends. She also loved her dog “Prince.” Juanita was a daughter of the late David Ray and Maude Alma Hancock Cassady and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lester Williamson; brothers: Cebern, Sulon, Eldon and Harlon Cassady.

 

Juanita is survived by sisters: Mearl Allen, of Toccoa, GA, Alma Brewer, of Asheboro and many nieces, nephews and friends, especially her new friends and employees at Autumn Nursing Care in Biscoe.

 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Charlie and Brenda Cassady, 3972 Busbee Road, Seagrove, NC..
