Justin Tyler Kennedy

justin kennedy

Justin Tyler Kennedy, 40, of Robbins, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at his home.

Justin was born Monday, September 3, 1984, in Siler City, NC, the son of David Lynn

Kennedy and Teresa Hunsucker Kennedy. He graduated from North Moore High School in 2003.

On May 21, 2010, Justin married Robin Long Kennedy at Myrtle Beach. He worked in Shipping and Receiving at Minhas Furniture and as a Production Specialist at Technimark.

Justin grew up playing basketball with his brother and father, riding dirt bikes, and exploring nature — experiences that shaped his adventurous spirit. He had a deep love for working with his hands, a passion he inherited from his father. He was known for his physical strength, finding great joy in felling trees and working with firewood, skills that were passed down through generations. Whether it was fixing cars, tinkering with machinery, or repairing electronics, he was always ready to roll up his sleeves and take on any project.

Beyond his practical skills, Justin had a brilliant mind and loved exploring the complexities of science. He was fascinated by quantum theory, thermodynamics, mathematics, and his favorite, the theory of relativity. His passion for exploring these fields fueled his curiosity and shaped the the way he viewed the world. A man of few words, he was a deep thinker who often reflected on his surroundings. His hands-on approach to life, calm demeanor, vast knowledge, selflessness, and love for learning were hallmarks of his personality, and those who knew him will forever cherish these qualities.

He also loved spending time with his family, especially on trips to the mountains and the beach, where he relished nature and cherished moments of togetherness.

Remaining to cherish Justin’s memory are his wife, Robin Long Kennedy; children, Austin Tyler Kennedy (24), Brendan Cale Williams (18), Alexis Michele Kennedy (16), and Grayson Madison Kennedy (5); right hand man, Lane Collins Jessup; mother, Teresa Hunsucker Kennedy; brother, Jeremy David Kennedy; sister, Gwen Kennedy McNeill; and nieces and nephews, Mason David Kennedy, Noah Rhett Kennedy, Kaitlin Briana McNeill, and Bailey Elizabeth McNeill.
