Kathryn Baker Cassady, age 57 of Bennett died Tuesday (November 11, 2014) at her home after a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Putnam Friends Church conducted by the Rev. Billy Joe Brady. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00.
A native of Lee County she was a daughter of the late Frank and Irene Pettus Baker. She was preceded in death by a brother Timmy Baker.
She is survived by: her husband of 38 years Randy Cassady; sons Brandon Cassady and wife Paula of Carthage, Cale Cassady of Bennett; brother Johnny Baker of Sanford; sisters Dianne Maples of Johnsonville, Theresa Taylor and Pat Davis both of Broadway.
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Cassady family.

Kathy was quite the hoot. Remember the fun times we had growing up. As adults we go our separate ways but thought of her often. Cousin you will be missed.
