Kathy McKenzie Flynn age 61 of Cedar Lane Road died Sunday (April 10, 2011).
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Culdee Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Gary Ashley and the Rev. Scott McInnis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
A native of Moore County she was the daughter of the late James McKenzie and Doris Nall McKenzie. A graduate of Union Pines High School she worked for many years in accounting for Pilgrims Pride.
Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Butner and husband, Leonard of Sanford; two sons, Gary Flynn 'Peanut' & wife, Amanda of Carthage and Jerry Flynn 'Fat Boy' & wife, Shannon of Sanford; a brother, Darrell McKenzie & wife, Karen of Carthage; six grandchildren, Kelby & Aubrey Butner; Cameron, Jacob & Alex Flynn and Peyton Flynn..
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
