Glen Keith Garner, 70, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Keith was a graduate of North Moore High School. He worked in textiles for over 20 years, was a house builder and currently was employed at James River Equipment.

Keith was a member of Smyrna Church, where he served on the cemetery committee. He enjoyed farming, antique tractors and farm equipment, spending time with grandchildren, family reunions and hunting. He loved to be outdoors. 

He was a son of the late  Edward Vernon and Betty Sue Brewer Garner and was preceded in death by: sister Debra Garner; granddaughter Hannah Gordon.

Keith is survived by: wife, Sarah Garner; children: Jason Garner and wife Krystal, Ronnie Davis and wife Debra, Angie Ussery and husband Rocky, Robert Gordon and wife Alison, Melissa McDaniel and husband Jeremy, Matthew Gordon; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers: Ronnie Garner and wife Jennifer, Alvin Garner and wife Jenny; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service 3 PM, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Smyrna Church Cemetery, with Reverend Edwin Moore Officiating. The body will lie in state from 2 to 5 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Kennedy Funeral Home

Memorial may be made to the Smyrna Church Cemetery Fund, 203 Smyrna Church Road, Robbins, NC 27325

Kennedy Funeral Home is serving the Garner family.

  5. Sara and all family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Keith will always hold special place in our hearts, as beloved friend, neighbor, and special man he was. He had an infectious smile and always managed to make sure he gave out a smile. Will be missed dearly.
