Glen Keith Garner, 70, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Keith was a graduate of North Moore High School. He worked in textiles for over 20 years, was a house builder and currently was employed at James River Equipment.
Keith was a member of Smyrna Church, where he served on the cemetery committee. He enjoyed farming, antique tractors and farm equipment, spending time with grandchildren, family reunions and hunting. He loved to be outdoors.
He was a son of the late Edward Vernon and Betty Sue Brewer Garner and was preceded in death by: sister Debra Garner; granddaughter Hannah Gordon.
Keith is survived by: wife, Sarah Garner; children: Jason Garner and wife Krystal, Ronnie Davis and wife Debra, Angie Ussery and husband Rocky, Robert Gordon and wife Alison, Melissa McDaniel and husband Jeremy, Matthew Gordon; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers: Ronnie Garner and wife Jennifer, Alvin Garner and wife Jenny; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service 3 PM, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Smyrna Church Cemetery, with Reverend Edwin Moore Officiating. The body will lie in state from 2 to 5 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Kennedy Funeral Home
Memorial may be made to the Smyrna Church Cemetery Fund, 203 Smyrna Church Road, Robbins, NC 27325

I pnly had the pleasure and handful of times meeting Keith, but those followed years of great words from Melissa and Sarah. He was great, hard working man and provider. I know he will be missed by every life he touched.

I’m so very sorry to hear about Keith. Another friend and co worker from C&A gone too soon. We both thought alot of Keith and he will be missed. Praying for the family during this difficult time. May the Lord comfort as only he can.
So sorry for your loss! Jeremy and Melissa always talked very highly of Keith. He was so kind and nice at the wedding and try to make sure everyone and everything was prefect for that day!

To all the family, my heart hurt when I heard Keith had passed away. I have such great memories of him at N Moore and after. Had that beautiful smile that made his eyes twinkle and almost close! Prayers for peace and understanding…he had such a good soul and we will see him again.

So sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. Doug and I became acquainted with Keith at James River as customers. He was always smiling and became a good friend. He shared many stories and pictures of his family on several occasions with us. May God be with you and give you peace during this difficult time. Doug and Cindy Hensley
