Kelly Melissa “Missy” Muse, 37, of Carthage, passed away on  Monday, January 23, 2017 from injuries sustained in a car accident.

 

A native of Moore County she was a daughter of Faye Diggs Muse and the late  L.C Muse.  She attended Union Pines High School and was presently working as a waitress at Theo’s in Pinehurst.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday at  Halls Memorial Church with Rev. John Stinnett, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 12:00 and other times at the home. Burial will be in Cross Hill Cemetery.

 

In addition to her mother she is survived by daughters, Hannah Muse of Pinehurst, Taylor Ferreira of West End, Haley Hunter Ferreira of West End; step-daughter, Tiana  Ferreira of Carthage; companion, Adam  Medlin of Seven Lakes, NC; biological mother, Linda Maples; brothers, Jeff Muse and wife Tammy of Carthage, Michael Muse and wife Jill of Carthage, Matthew  Muse and wife Clarissa of White Oak; sisters, Brandy Muse of Carthage, Amanda Kelly of FL, Megan Muse of Cameron; Grandson, Aiden; and her dog, Baby Girl.
