Kenneth Joseph Heyworth, age 97 of Belle Meade, Southern Pines died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11 O'clock on Saturday, March 20th at Belle Meade Chapel with The Rev. Chuck Plowman officiating.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late Harry and Isobell Sandwith Heyworth. He retired in 1974 as manager of Home Sales for Warner and Swasey Company in Cleveland. He moved to Whispering Pines in 1974 and in 1999 moved to Belle Meade in Southern Pines. His wife Virginia Hamilton Heyworth preceded him in death.
He is survived by: nieces, Carole Parnell of Sun City West, AZ, Alice Wasosky of Sagamore Hills, OH, Christine Buttes of Goodyear, AZ, Tracy Spoon of Peoria, AZ. Alexis Merydith of Davis, CA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Health Foundation 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374, or Carthage Methodist Church P.O. Box 70, Carthage, NC 28327.
