Charlie Kenneth Sheffield 58, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Crossroads Baptist Church, with the Reverend Mike Holyfield officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 PM and at other times at 7847 Jugtown Road, Seagrove, NC.

Kenneth was a native of Moore County. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Kenneth worked in the construction industry for many years, as a equipment operator. He loved his sons and all his family. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding horses. Kenneth had a “Heart of Gold” and never met anyone he would not help. He was a son of the late Graham Sheffield.

Kenneth is survived by sons: Clifford Sheffield and wife Anna; Mitchell Sheffield; mother: Frances Sheffield; fiance’: Darlene Janney; sisters: Lisa Shropshire and husband Phillip, Sherry Ellis and husband Jason;  brothers: Earl Sheffield, Joe Sheffield and wife Kim; grandson: Clemons.  

Memorial may be made to Brenner Children’s Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
