Kraven Lee Carlisle, age 9 of Carthage died Sunday, (April 6, 2008) as a result of an accidental drowning at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop William Houseman officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Cemetery in Southern Pines. The family will receive friends at the church Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Other times the family will be at the residence of Gary and Shawna Smith, 703 McReynolds St., Carthage.
Kraven was a daughter of Donavaughn and Paige Carlisle and was born in Wake County. She attended Carthage Elementary School until this year, and was presently being home schooled by her mother.
In addition to her parents she is survived by: a sisters Kassidy and Payton; brother Davis all of the home; maternal grandparents Gary and Shawna Smith of Carthage; paternal grandparents Richard and Dixie Carlisle of Albuquerque, NM; paternal great-grandmother Josephine Reeves: nine aunts; nine uncles and 25 cousins.
The family requests no flowers, and lieu send memorials to: Kraven Lee Carlisle Memorial Fund c/o any RBC Centura location.
