Kyler Damon Stock, age 46 of Southern Pines, died Monday, March 26, 2018 at his home after a difficult struggle with ALS.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Kyler was born in Boonton, NJ and previously worked as stock broker and as a sales representative for Cook Pharmaceutical.
His survived by his parents Ernest and Vicki Stock of Whispering Pines; brothers Trevor Stock of Huntersville and Brian Stock of Augusta, GA.
Powell Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the Stock family.

Ernie and family, so sorry to hear of Kylers’ passing. He was a fighter. I got to know him well when he was working at Whispering Woods. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time.
Kyler’s humor and unique take on life will be dearly missed. Please know that I’ll be praying for you and your family.
What a shock to hear of my childhood friend…I am thinking of all of the Stock family, and remembering all the wonderful times we had growing up together in the culdesac. I know your hearts ache. Love and peace to all of you.
Kyler and I were great friends back in college and years following. I just heard of this news and feel heartbroken. He’s was a great guy!! So very sorry to hear this over a year later. RIP buddy…..
So sorry to hear about Kyler. He and I worked at the Pinehurst resort many years ago, played golf, and hung out often.
