Larisa P. Houston

Larisa P. Houston, age 55, passed away at her home in Pinehurst on Sunday, July 31, 2023.

Born on March 5, 1968, in Russia, she was a daughter of Lydia Sapega and the late Petr Sapega. 

Larisa had degrees in both Meteorology and Economics. She was a Meteorologist and retired in Siberia, Russia. She was known for exceptional cooking skills. Larisa loved hosting and decorating the house for every holiday party. Her son Max was the apple of her eye.

Loving wife of Philip Houston for 19 years, Larisa is survived by their son; Maximus Houston of Pinehurst, NC, and stepchildren Trey Houston of Oklahoma, and Alexandra Houston of Florida, as well as a brother: Constantine Sapega of Russia. 

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 2 PM, at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.
