Larry Marie Garner, age 79, passed away at UNC hospitals in Chapel Hill, surrounded by her family on Monday, October 29, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the First Wesleyan Church, 240 East Moore St, Robbins, with Pastor Hubert McLeod and Pastor Ralph Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Garner Family Cemetery.

She was born on September 5, 1939 in Moore County to late James Hampton and Fanny Chandler Garner. Throughout her life Larry Marie nourished everyone around her with an unconditional love, raising her own family and providing home health care to many over the years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Quimby Lewis Garner, daughter-in-law Debbie Clemens Garner, grandson Shannon Garner,  great-grandchild Baby Marley and 13 siblings.

Left to honor and remember her love are her eight children and their spouses, Lonnie and Brenda English, Louis and Linda Cockman, David Garner, Ricky and Linda Garner, Nickey and Ida Garner, James and Vicky Hunsucker, Frankie and Paula Burgess, and Kathy Garner; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will greet family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Kennedy Family Funeral Home in Robbins, and again at the fellowship hall on Friday immediately following the funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, some members of the Garner family would like for donations to be made to the Southern Boys RC in order to help provide Christmas support for the Robbins area group home.
