Larry McRae

Mr. James (Larry) McRae, 69, died Friday November 6, 2009 at his home.
Funeral services will held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Lugo officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Born December 10, 1939 in Southern Pines, he was a son of the late Jack and Alzada Kimbell McRae.
Larry worked for Fletcher Industries for twenty years and was the owner and operator of McRae Small Engine Repair since 1975.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose Ann McDonald McRae of Southern Pines, two daughters Anna M. Reynolds and Darlene M. McCaskill both of Southern Pines, two sons James L. McRae, Jr. of Chicago, IL and Jack D. McRae of Hoffman, one sister, Margaret Lenori Montgomery of Princeton, NC, four brothers, David McRae of Seven Lakes, Harrison McRae of Lakeview, Don McRae of Laurel Hill, and John McRae of Southern Pines, twelve grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday (tomorrow) at Powell Funeral Home and Crematory.
